Who we are
MeltX Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is an enterprise software company registered in India, with its registered office at Office No. 210, 211, 212, Aston Plaza, Ambegaon Bk, Pune 411046, Maharashtra. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, MeltX is the data fiduciary in respect of personal data collected through this website.
What personal data we collect
We collect personal data only where you choose to give it to us. Through this website that means the demonstration request form, which asks for your name, organisation, work email address, telephone number, the module or service you are interested in, and a description of your requirement.
Our web server records standard technical information for every request, including the internet protocol address, the browser and device type, the pages requested and the time of the request. This information is generated automatically by the hosting infrastructure and is used to keep the service available and secure.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange a demonstration or consultation.
- To send procurement or tender documentation where you have asked for it.
- To maintain a record of the enquiry for our own accountability and audit.
- To keep this website available, performant and secure.
We do not use the details you submit for unrelated marketing, and we do not sell, rent or trade personal data to any third party.
Consent and lawful basis
When you submit the form you are giving consent for MeltX to use those details to respond to your enquiry. That consent is specific to the purpose stated on the form. You may withdraw it at any time by writing to contact@meltxsoftware.com, and we will stop processing your data for that purpose and delete it unless we are required to retain it.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not set advertising or profiling cookies, and it does not embed third party tracking scripts. The map on the contact page is loaded from OpenStreetMap, which will receive your internet protocol address in order to serve the map tiles. If you prefer not to load it, do not open the contact page, or block third party frames in your browser.
Who we share data with
Enquiry details are seen by the MeltX team members who need them to respond. Where an engagement involves our strategic alliance partners, and where sharing is necessary to answer your enquiry, we will tell you before we share anything. Beyond that we share personal data only where we are required to by law, or where a service provider processes it on our instructions under a written agreement.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are retained for as long as the commercial conversation is live, and afterwards for the period our own record keeping and statutory obligations require. Web server logs are retained for a limited period for security and diagnostic purposes and are then deleted.
Specific retention periods for enquiry records and server logs are set out in our internal retention schedule, which is available on request.
How we protect it
MeltX holds ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification for its information security management system. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is granted by role, and access to systems holding personal data requires multi factor authentication. Our web applications have been audited against CERT-In, OWASP and SANS 25 guidelines. The full position is set out on our security and compliance page.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you may ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is being processed, ask us to correct or complete inaccurate data, ask us to erase data where it is no longer needed, and withdraw a consent you previously gave. You may also nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.
To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@meltxsoftware.com. We will respond within the period the Act requires.
Grievance redressal
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal data, contact our grievance officer at contact@meltxsoftware.com or telephone 020 69011061. If the matter remains unresolved you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Grievances are received at contact@meltxsoftware.com, marked for the attention of the grievance officer, and are acknowledged in writing.
Children
This website is intended for business and institutional users. We do not knowingly collect personal data of children. If you believe a child has submitted personal data through this site, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices or the applicable law change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be described on this page rather than made silently.
